When I painted this picture, I realized that it was about ash eruption. My favorite place in Chile, the city of Pucon, is located 20 km from the active Villarrica. volcano, a year before our appearance, ash solidification occurred there. Friends say that they slept until lunchtime because it was dark outside and it felt like it was still night. And when all the same it was no longer possible to sleep, they looked out into the street and saw that everything around was gray. The sky, trees, cars and houses, dogs and streets, everything was covered with a ten centimeter layer of ash. And the sun could not break through this cloud hanging over the city and its surroundings. It was late winter. Then, the minerals were absorbed into the ground and there was a stunningly bright spring, the greenery was the brightest, everything smelled and bloomed with double strength). After a gray day, the sun shines twice.
